BLACK LIVES MATTER MARCH AUCKLAND

On June 1st, Auckland held a March for Solidarity for the protests happening in the United States after the murder of George Floyd by American police. Thousands turned out, despite rainy weather and COVID-19 concerns to peacefully march the length of Queen Street from Aotea Square to the American embassy. It was an incredibly moving and powerful protest full of positive and courageous energy. If you would like to donate to the Black Lives Matter movement you can do so here.
